Dundee Culture’s Squid Game video goes viral on TikTok and Instagram


Dundee Culture’s video of the Red Light, Green Light doll standing at the Forfar Road junction has went viral on TikTok and Instagram.

The video, which shows a group of cars trapped on the Forfar Road junction as the doll keeps saying “red light” received 10,000 overall reactions on both of the platforms.


The video is now Dundee Culture’s most liked video on both platforms and has had the most views of any video on the socials.





Squid Game, which is a popular show on Netflix, has become a viral sensation on social media platforms. It is about a group of people competing to when a huge cash prize whilst playing deadly children’s games, one of which is “Red Light, Green Light”


The “Red Light, Green Light” game is the first in the competition and sees the first players being eliminated and brutally shot dead.


The second season of the show was recently released which has triggered a renewed discussion in the show.


The vast majority of the reactions to the posts were positive with many commenting with laugh reacts, whilst others commented on the reality of the situation, being that the Forfar Road junction has always got red lights.
