Dundee Culture's 'Sex and the City' parody featuring Cox's Stack has caused quite the reaction

A Dundee Culture video which featured a clip from Sex and the City that was posted on its social media platforms has certainly caused quite the reaction.

The video, which was published on Dundee Culture's social media channels on Wednesday morning, shows the scene of Carrie Bradshaw (portrayed by Sarah Jessica Parker), from Sex and the City, coming out on to her balcony and squealing in glee as she looks on to the Cox's Stack with the caption "POV: You get an Airbnb in Lochee".

The Cox's Stack, a prominent landmark in Dundee, is a chimney that was part of the former Camperdown Works jute mill and now stands as a historic monument in the city.

In this video, it humorously replaces the iconic Eiffel Tower in the scene, creating a unique and amusing juxtaposition.

Since its release, the video has quickly gained traction, garnering over 2,080 total reactions and an impressive 176,000 views within a day.

The playful and creative twist on the popular TV show moment has resonated with viewers, leading to a surge in engagement and shares across various social media platforms.

Responses to the video have been overwhelmingly positive, with audiences expressing their delight through laughing emojis and enthusiastic comments.

The light-hearted nature of the content has sparked conversations and interactions among Dundee Culture's followers, showcasing the power of creative storytelling and cultural references in digital content.
