Dundee Brew Fest is set to return to the city before the end of the year, with organisers announcing a brand-new winter edition of the popular beer festival.
Winter Brew Fest will take place at CANVAS Dundee on Friday 4 December from 7pm until midnight, following the fifth anniversary edition of Dundee Brew Fest held at the venue earlier this summer.
Rather than recreating the larger summer festival, organisers are planning a more intimate event with a particular focus on breweries from Dundee and the surrounding area, alongside a wider selection of craft beer.
The winter theme will also make its way into what is being poured on the night. Darker and seasonal beers including stouts, porters, heavies and winter specials are expected to feature prominently, giving the December event its own identity within the Brew Fest calendar.
Plans are also being developed for a brewery tour and tasting element, while live entertainment will feature throughout the evening before a DJ takes over later in the night.
The announcement comes just weeks after Dundee Brew Fest celebrated its fifth anniversary on 1 August. The summer event brought independent breweries, street food and live entertainment together at CANVAS across daytime and evening sessions.
Organiser Andy said the winter edition had come together quickly following the summer festival, but that he was particularly excited about the new direction for the event.
Instead of simply extending the existing festival format into December, the smaller-scale approach will allow Winter Brew Fest to place greater emphasis on local producers, seasonal drinks and the breweries themselves.
Winter Brew Fest takes place at CANVAS Dundee on Friday 4 December 2026, from 7pm until midnight. Tickets are on sale now.
