Discovery Festival is returning to Dundee in July 2026

Just as the inaugural Discovery Festival kicks off in Dundee this weekend, organisers have confirmed the event will return for a second year in 2026.

Although it hasn't been confirmed, the festival will very likely once again take place at Slessor Gardens, running from 24 to 26 July.

The announcement comes just weeks after the first-ever Doof in the Park EDM festival, hosted by Dundee’s own Hannah Laing at Camperdown Park, also revealed plans to return in 2026.

Together, the two festivals signal a major boost for Dundee’s music scene, positioning the city as a go-to destination for live outdoor events in Scotland.

Discovery Festival, which takes its name from Dundee’s historic ties to the RRS Discovery, has launched with a packed weekend of live music, entertainment, and summer celebrations.

Its waterfront setting at Slessor Gardens provides a dramatic stage for both local and international talent, with thousands expected to attend across the weekend.
