BREAKING: Franz Ferdinand are coming to Dundee in 2026

Dundee’s newest live music venue is set to welcome one of Scotland’s biggest indie bands next year, as Franz Ferdinand have announced a headline show at LIVEHOUSE.

The popular Glasgow indie group, known for their breakout hit Take Me Out, will perform at the city’s state-of-the-art venue on 24 February 2026.

The announcement marks another major booking for LIVEHOUSE, which only opened its doors last month.

Since their debut album launched them into international success in 2004, Franz Ferdinand have released six studio albums, including The Human Fear, which came out earlier this year.

Fans eager to secure their spot can access a presale via the Gigs in Scotland website on Thursday, with general tickets available from 10am on Friday.

LIVEHOUSE has already made a bold entrance onto the city’s music scene, kicking things off with a launch night featuring actor-turned-DJ Craig Charles before hosting the closing party for the Dundee Dance Event the next day. ,

Yungblud and Idlewild are also set to appear on stage at the venue later this year.
