Big Oktoberfest celebration heading to Dundee as LIVEHOUSE announces Bavarian festival

A brand-new Oktoberfest celebration is coming to Dundee this autumn, with LIVEHOUSE set to transform into a traditional Bavarian beer hall for a full day of festivities.

The event will take place on Saturday 3 October 2026, bringing one of Germany’s most famous celebrations to the city with themed décor, live entertainment and plenty of opportunities to raise a stein.

Visitors can expect a lively Oktoberfest atmosphere, complete with singalongs, dancing on the benches and a programme of Bavarian-inspired entertainment throughout the day. Organisers are also encouraging guests to embrace the occasion by wearing traditional Lederhosen or other Oktoberfest attire.

The festival will be split across two ticketed sessions, giving revellers the chance to choose between an afternoon or evening celebration. The first session will run from 12pm until 4pm, while the second takes place from 5pm until 9pm.

The event is strictly for those aged 18 and over, with one ticket required per session. Tickets are available now, with demand expected to be high as Dundee prepares to host what promises to be one of the city’s biggest Oktoberfest celebrations yet.
