Scottish rock giants Biffy Clyro are heading to Dundee this autumn for an intimate acoustic performance at Fat Sams.

The band will take to the stage on Tuesday 21 October for a 45–minute stripped–back set as part of a special event organised by Assai Records. The show comes in celebration of their upcoming album Futique, which is due for release on 19 September.

Fans will have the chance to secure their place at the exclusive gig when tickets go on sale from 11am on Friday 22 August. Entry is available through album and ticket bundles, with prices starting from £26 for a CD and ticket. Vinyl bundles, including Assai’s exclusive marble colour LP, are also available, with a limited number of ticket–only options priced at £22.50.

Events like this, Assai Records says, are only possible thanks to fans supporting independent music stores, artists, and venues through bundle purchases. The shop, based on Union Street, has previously hosted major names in music for similar intimate shows.

The October concert is open to fans aged 14 and above, although under–16s must be accompanied by an adult. Entry rules will be strict, with lead bookers required to present original photo ID matching their ticket. Guests must arrive together, as mismatched IDs or late arrivals will not be admitted.

Full event timings are still to be confirmed, but demand is expected to be high. With Biffy Clyro’s reputation for electrifying live performances, the chance to see them in an acoustic setting at a venue the size of Fat Sams is likely to sell out quickly.

The Dundee date adds to the buzz surrounding Futique, which will be the band’s first studio album since 2020’s A Celebration of Endings. For fans, it offers not just a new chapter of music, but a rare opportunity to experience Biffy Clyro in an up–close and personal setting.
