Following overwhelming demand, Scottish pop sensation Amy Macdonald has added a second Dundee gig on 11 July — the same night as her sold-out album launch show.
The new date, also taking place at Fat Sam’s, comes after tickets for the original performance flew off the shelves within hours of release. The back-to-back shows will mark the official launch of her new album Is This What You’ve Been Waiting For?, which drops earlier that day.
Once again hosted in partnership with Assai Records, the second show offers another chance for fans to experience Macdonald live in an intimate setting as she debuts brand-new material alongside fan favourites. With her unmistakable vocals and heartfelt storytelling, the night promises to be a powerful celebration of her return to the spotlight.
Tickets and album bundles for the second show will are on sale now via assai.co.uk — and are expected to sell quickly given the first show’s immediate sell-out.
This double bill cements Macdonald’s strong connection with Dundee, a city she’s frequently praised for its energy and loyal fanbase. With two gigs in one night, it’s set to be an unforgettable evening for local music lovers and a highlight of Scotland’s summer gig calendar.
