A new LEGO festival is coming to Dundee this August

A brand new LEGO fan festival is heading to Dundee later this year, bringing huge brick-built displays, interactive activities, traders, and family entertainment to the city.
Taybrick 2026 will take place at Dundee Contemporary Arts on 29 August and 30 August 2026, with organisers promising a weekend packed with creativity, imagination, and some of the most impressive custom LEGO builds in the country.
The not-for-profit event will feature large-scale displays created by expert builders from across the UK, alongside interactive building pits where visitors can create their own designs using thousands of bricks.
Families attending the festival will also be able to take part in minifigure hunts across the exhibition floor, with hidden characters placed throughout the displays and prizes available for successful participants.
Collectors and LEGO enthusiasts will also have the chance to browse specialist traders selling retired and rare sets, custom minifigures, loose bricks, accessories, and hard-to-find items that are no longer available in high street stores.
Organisers say the event is designed for all ages, from lifelong collectors to younger builders discovering LEGO for the first time, with tickets expected to be in high demand due to limited capacity.
The festival will also include a charity raffle supporting local causes, with one lucky visitor set to win a large LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series set during the weekend event.
Taybrick 2026 takes place at DCA Dundee on 29 August and 30 August 2026. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
